IPSC & Bullseye matches a success

The Little River Sprtsman's Association in Valdosta, Georgi, hosted two matches at the range on Saturday, July 26, 2008.

There were seven Bullseye competitors, with High Master John Farley having the best overall score of 2599-95X. David Farley had the best Master score, while Greg Tucker had the best Expert score. Little John Farley shot well in the .22 portion of the match. Other shooters were Paul Bertrand, Paul Parrish, and Lynn Wallace. Wally Wallace called the match. Everyone had a good time, even though the tempurature got hot after lunch for the .45 match.

There were six competitors in the IPSC match. This match was abbreviated to 4 stages because of the heat. Lee Ovaert led all competitors with a total time of 68.16 seconds, shooting in the Production class. Fred Touchton was the top shooter in Limited, David Boyd the top shooter in Limited-10, and Tony Mock finished first in the Single-Stack class. Other shooters were Patrick Orr, Wayne Hart, and Lonnie Jacobs. It was good to see Patrick Orr back in competition. He has missed several months of competition due to his training for his new career in Law Enforcement. Scores can be found here.
